Tourism Action Plan

Camden Council is committed to enhancing the contribution of tourism to the sustainable development of Camden in economic, social, and environmental terms by providing a fair, balanced, consistent, and supportive environment for tourism and associated businesses to operate in.

The Camden Tourism Action Plan looks at specific tourism objectives and goals for Camden Council and serves to update the Camden Tourism Action Plan produced in 2005. The strategies identified within this plan need to be taken into account as part of the overall Camden Town Plan and other key planning documents.

The Macarthur Tourism Action Plan was developed by Camden Council and Campbelltown City Council to create a collaborative framework for tourism management, tourism marketing
and tourism development within the Macarthur region. The plan identifies common goals and objectives and provides a detailed action plan to achieve these. Both plans can be downloaded below.
